Sizzling Through The Season Week 9- D.C.

Week 9 is here and the Giants are looking to snap a two game losing streak today vs division foes The Washington Football Team down in D.C. As we all know, both teams are in the rebuild but with how the division has shaken up so far, both are very much alive in the putrid NFC East so anything can happen.

This week I chose to do something different since the Giants already played the Washington Football Team, I wanted to make one of my favorite home tailgating meals. I made Spare Ribs in the oven. The reasons why I like cooking/ grilling ribs is because not only are they delicious, they are really easy to prep and cook. All you really have to do is cook them low and slow for a few hours and in no time they will be falling off the bone! If you are home and have the time to let the oven or grill do the work on a game day, I highly suggest making ribs you will not regret it!

Cooking Time

After putting the Rub on the ribs put it in the oven at 400 degrees for 45 mins to render the fat.

After rendering the fat, put the BBQ Sauce of your choice on to the ribs and put it back in the oven at 25o degrees for at least 2 hours or when you feel the ribs are ready to be served.
