Sizzling Through The Season- Week 15, Pizza Bagels

Wow its already week 15, The Giants are home tonight vs the Cleveland Browns on Sunday Night Football. This is the 1st time in three seasons that the Giants are playing on Sunday night.

Tonight the Giants will be without starting Quarterback Daniel Jones who has multiple lower leg injuries and just was smart for the Giants not to give him a go for tonight’s game. The Giants will have all they can handle with the Browns. They aren’t your average Browns. They are 9- 4 before tonight’s kickoff and in a prime spot to make the playoffs for the first time since 2002!

This week, I was looking all over the internet and see if there was something cool but different to make. My wife and I stumbled about this place Frickaccio’s Pizza Bagels in the West Side Market in Cleveland.

So I thought to myself, if New York is known for two things Pizza and Bagels, I decided to make my own meat lovers. Cleveland is known for Sausage and brats so without further a do, my Meat Lovers Pizza Bagels. Until next week enjoy your Football and Go Giants!


4 plain full-size bagels, halved (for an extra kick, use everything bagels)

8 ounces of pizza sauce (we used Rao’s)

1lb of Italian sausage (removed from casing)

32 slices of pepperoni (4 per half)

8oz of mozzarella cheese, shredded


Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a med-high pan, brown sausage until cooked fully about 8-10 minutes.

Layout bagel halves and top with equal amounts of pizza sauce, sausage, pepperoni slices and mozzarella cheese.

Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly browned. Enjoy!
