Giants Game-Day: Road Trip To Philly

Sorry I’ve been MIA this week with not doing a post game recap of the lions game but life was to crazy. On to week 3 at Philadelphia, it’s a must win game at a place the Giants haven’t seen a win at in at least three season. It’s truly a house of horrors as of late for Big Blue.   Can the Giants right the ship and get their first win of the season? It is going to be obviously very tough vs. a huge divisional rival.  The coaching staff and teams are going to have to do a lot of work to right everything up they will have to stick together and fight as one.  As of 8:41 AM, Coach McAdoo will be handing the play calling so I hope and pray he spices it up.  He needs to figure something out and help the offensive line  and our quarterback, who has been running for his life the first two games of this season.

  1.     Another week, can the offensive line give Eli any sort of protection today?  I sure hopes so. The Eagles defensive line is a lot better then the Lions defensive line and we all saw what they did to Eli.  Fletcher Cox, Chris Long, Brandon Graham and Timmy Jernigan are 100% licking their chops. I’m praying to God that Eli doesn’t die today…
  2.    Can the Giants defense confuse Carson Wentz? The defense is going to have to muck it up today and get off the field on third down because the second year quarterback can find ways to extend the play with his feet and find the open man or run it. The defense needs to read their keys and stay in their lanes and good things will happen! Smart physical football they need to play!
  3.    Can the wide receivers get enough time to find the soft spots of the depleted Eagles secondary? We can all hope so but like I mentioned in point one, does Eli have enough time to look for them and be able to get the ball to them. I expect Odell Beckham JR. to have more of a productive game. He practiced all week on his injured ankle. This is huge for the giants and Eli getting their safety blanket fully healthy once again.

Game Matchup:  Fletcher Cox vs the interior offensive line. Flowers and Pugh of course will have their hands filled at the tackles. Fletcher Cox at DT is going to make Richburg, Jones and Jerry lives difficult all afternoon. They will have to trust each other and commutate and pick each other up.

Score of the Game: I’m copping out today and not giving a score. I’m never right and always pick the Giants. They have to prove us wrong and find away to play and stick together as a team. The whole world is coming down on them and they have to find it within the lock room to dig themselves out of this huge hole! Come on Giants wake up, play hard and show some Giants Pride. LETS GO GIANTS!
