Behan’s Take: Giants-Cowboys 9/10/17

The day has finally arrived the first Sunday of the NFL season. For us Giants fans, we have a lot of hope that this team on paper has what it takes to make another deep run in to the playoffs and maybe just maybe, the Super Bowl. It’s starts off with a great test  in facing last years NFC East Division winners the Dallas Cowboys.

Like always, this matchup brings out the best of each team and has had epic games recently that both fan bases have experience the joys of winning and the agony of defeat. Here are my keys into for the Giants winning tonight’s game:

  1. Can the Giants Defense contain Zeke Elliott to help set up pressure to force Dak Prescott to make throws he does not want to make?
  2. Does Odell Beckham Jr Play? If so great, if not can Brandon Marshall and the rest of the WR unit step up and ball out?
  3.  Can the Giants O-Line protect Eli and give him enough time to get the ball out of his hands go on long scoring drives?
  4. Can the Giants set up any sort of running game to help the Defense to stay off the field for long periods of time and obviously keep the offense on the field to pro-long drives ?

Matchup of the Game

Dez Bryant- Jackrabbit Jeninks–  Last year Jackrabbit handled Dez Bryant pretty well and making him play uncomfortable in both games vs the Giants. Can Jackrabbit make it three games in a row? Regardless, it will be a fun matchup to say the very least.

Final Score Giants 21-  Cowboys-17.  Please note in the video, I say 14 for the Cowboys but I really meant to say 17. Its going to be the typical Giants-Cowboys game and for what ever reason Eli and Company always play well in Jerry’s world and tonight will be no different.

Please check out my video and enjoy. Let’s Go Giants!
