New York Knicks, 3rd pick overall

Time to get the Knicks back to winning!

Some things you just can’t make up. Let’s take the New York Knicks as the perfect example. For years, the Knicks have been just really bad to watch. Attendance may not show it but let’s face it, the Knicks are a laughing stock. Haven’t made the postseason since the 2012-2013 season, Knicks fans have been begging for a just something to slightly go their way. Continue reading “New York Knicks, 3rd pick overall”

Thank you, Landon

Thank You Landon Collins!

In the second round of the 2015 draft, at the 33rd pick, the New York Giants selected Landon Collins out of the University of Alabama. My first thought was, okay, a hard-hitting safety. Coming from a defensive system. Danny reached out to me going nuts over this selection, he was so excited for him to be a giant. Continue reading “Thank you, Landon”

WrestleMaina 34

Recap of Wrestlemania 34

For those who watch both WWE and the NFL, there are two Sunday’s every year they look forward to. The first one, is normally the first Sunday in February and is Super Bowl Sunday. The second one, is normally the end of March or early part of April. I’m talking about WrestleMania Sunday! Well here we are, April 8th, 2018, WrestleMania 34 from New Orleans. This is the second time in 4 years since mania will be in New Orleans. It’s going a huge packed card with a total of “13” matches. Why the quotes over the 13, because I do strongly believe something will happen with Cena and Taker despite the lack of Undertaker on TV. Will it be a match? will it be a street fight? Will it last longer than 1 minute? These are all questions that will be answered tonight! I’m going to give my prediction for each match to start the and then will write a little something about each match as they go along and end. Let’s have some fun! Happy Mania Sunday!  Continue reading “WrestleMaina 34”

A preview of the 2018 Mets

With opening day just a few days away, it’s time to take a look at the 2018 New York Mets. With a new coaching staff in place, the 2018 Mets are looking to bring back the magic from the 2015. A little disclaimer before moving forward, I 100% believe extended rosters should be to start the season, not the end of the season. However, that is an argument we have had 100 times on the SNDPODCAST show so I won’t be talking about it here.

Loyalty is rare. I believe I have the loyalty character. Here is my take on being loyal to sports teams.

“I got, I got, I got, I got Loyalty, got royalty inside my DNA” said Kendrick Lamar. Now, I know the first thing you’ll ask me, why royalty, that’s just part of the lyrics, so it’s in there. The loyalty part is what I’m here to talk about in this blog.

I said, HEY Josh Bailey!

Josh Bailey was drafted with the 9th pick in the 2008 NHL entry draft. Crazy to think that this coming June, it will be 10 years since that moment. Looking back to that time, it wasn’t exactly an ideal situation. The islanders had the 5th overall pick going into that draft. They would trade that to the Leafs and swipe first round picks. The isles would move back to the 7th pick which was then moved to Nashville and they would end up picking Bailey with the 9th overall pick. Continue reading “I said, HEY Josh Bailey!”

5 years ago, the SNDPODCAST show was created. Let’s look back

5 years, that’s 1,826 days, 43,824 hours, 2,629,440 minutes and 127,766,400 seconds. That is exactly how long it’s been since the SNDPODCAST was founded. 191 total episodes (recording 192 on 10/12), between YouTube, podbean, iTunes, soundcloud and a lot of other places. What a ride it has been, and what a ride we have planned for the future.

Best Time of the Year

Well, here it is, we made it. Everybody survived the dog days of summer. It’s officially the best time of the year. Just so everybody is aware, this article has NOTHING to do with Pumpkin anything. It has to do with my favorite time of the year.

New York Jets 2017 Preview

2016 was supposed to be a promising year for the New York Jets. Finishing 10-6 in 2015, basically bringing back the same roster with the addition of the rookie class and signing free agent Pro Bowl running back, Matt Forte, 2016 was supposed to be a playoff year. Well, as many people know, it was not. Ryan Fitzpatrick, the 2015 starting QB, decided to hold out for more money and would go ahead and miss all of minicamp. He would eventually sign his contract right before training camp and would be deemed the starter for the 2016 season.
