We made it people, the 2020 New York Football Giants training camp is officially over. The Giants trimmed down their roster to the “final” 53. We all know this will not be the final roster when the Giants take on the Steelers in eight days on Monday Night football.Embed from Getty Images
As of September 6th the Giants kept 23 offensive players.

As you can see the Giants brass kept it simple and kept everyone who was expected to make the team are all in the starting positions. It will be interesting to see how many offensive player who didn’t make this cut will sneak on to the practice squad. We shall find out sooner rather then later.
As of this morning September 6th the Giants have kept 27 players on defense.
Defensive Linemen (6) – Leonard Williams, Dalvin Tomlinson, Dexter Lawrence, B.J. Hill, R.J. McIntosh and Austin JohnsonEmbed from Getty Images
Outside Linebackers (6) – Markus Golden, Lorenzo Carter, Oshane Ximines , Kyler Fackrell, Cam Brown and Carter CoughlinEmbed from Getty Images
Inside Linebackers (5)- Blake Martinez, David Mayo, Devante Downs, T.J. Brunson and Tae CrowderEmbed from Getty Images
Defensive Backs (10)- James Bradberry, Logan Ryan, Corey Ballentine, Jabrill Peppers, Julian Love, Darnay Holmes, Xavier McKinney, Isaac Yiadom , Sean Chandler and Nate EbnerEmbed from Getty Images
Unlike things on the offensive side of the ball, the defense had the biggest surprise cut, second year inside linebacker Ryan Connelly. Connelly is coming off season ending knee surgery in his rookie season in 2019.
I also want you to keep in mind the Giants will most likely going to sign another defensive back since they have not officially placed rookie safety Xavier Mckinney on IR for a broken foot. Be on a look out for that to happen in the next few days.

I would assume that as long as there are no injuries to these three players, I would bet they would remain on the team for the whole season unless there are some sort of drop off in their respective games.
There you have it boys and girls. Your first official 53 men roster of the 2020 New York Football Giants. Lets see what the Giants brass does to help tinker and improve this roster in the upcoming days though the wavier wire.
